StackPicked (stackpicked.com) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This includes pages visited, time on site, referral source, device type, and approximate location (country/region level). This data is aggregated and anonymized — we cannot identify individual visitors.
Email address. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and store it with MailerLite, our email service provider. Subscribing is entirely optional.
Contact form submissions. If you contact us via the contact page, we receive the information you submit (name, email, message). We use this only to respond to your inquiry.
Cookies. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These are analytics cookies only — we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Analytics data is used to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. We do not sell analytics data or use it to build individual profiles.
Email addresses are used solely to send the StackPicked newsletter. We do not sell, rent, or share email addresses with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
Google Analytics. Analytics data is processed by Google. See Google's privacy policy.
MailerLite. Email subscription data is stored and processed by MailerLite. See MailerLite's privacy policy.
Netlify. This site is hosted on Netlify, which may collect server logs including IP addresses as part of standard hosting operations. See Netlify's privacy policy.
Affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link, you are redirected to a third-party website. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
GDPR (EU residents). You have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
CCPA (California residents). We do not sell personal information. California residents may request disclosure of what personal information we collect and how it is used.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page.
Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default settings (14 months). Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months.
We may update this policy when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
